The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch.
Randy was a professor at Carnegie Mellon University who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was asked to give a 'last lecture' which he entitled 'Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams'. This book is based on that lecture.
I enjoyed this book. It's well written and Randy makes good use of stories from his life to get his points across. Chapters like 'Training a Jedi', 'Not All Fairy Tales End Smoothly', and 'I Never Made it to the NFL' are some good examples of how he does this. The Last Lecture is a little over 200 pages and a quick read in my opinion. I'd highly recommend it and give it a 4.5 out of 5
